I Left Home For 11 Years

Salam alaik people. Hello blog!

Well, I am currently back in home sweetest home in Malaysia. Alhamdulillah *insert widest grin ever!

The happiest feeling I must say. Because well, at last I got to be home and be stress-free for maybe 6 months minimum HAHA. I know thats so confident of me to say 'stress-free'. Anyhoo, when I think about it again, I really have made my home a touch-N-go place for the last 11 years, since I went to boarding school at 13. So by all rights, I deserve this stress-free 6 months hihi. Self-acclaimed.

So, what did I do at home?

Hmm, honestly at first I did nothing!

Then, I realized I havent done any proper housechores for the last 11 years. I did it just when I want or my mom asked me. So, off I went downstairs, grabbed a sweep and turn into a domestic goddess. Nope! Well, I started off by just helping my mom. Doing whatever she's doing. Cooking and laundry. Asking why like this, why cant I do it like this, isnt it better this way? Really someone should put a tape over my lips! HAHA.

Well, I've got to say, I salute my mother so much for being so awesome and patient. Also the rest of mothers worldwide. Really, how did they do it? Taking care of children and making up the home is sooooooooooo tiresome! You should see the mountain of clothes especially when my brothers came home. Oh God, I feel like burying myself below the bed! As tiresome I felt, I am still far from my mother's par. She could continue gardening in the evening after all the pergi pasar, kemas peti sejuk, siang ikan ayam sotong etc, masak and laundry! Phew, long way to go tiqah sahmah haha! Anyway, my mom's answer is so simple. She said "Your time will come." Thats so deep, man, I can feel my hairs shiver a bit. Luls.

But yeah, thats the challenge for mothers. That is the reason why mothers are so dignified in Islam. For the vital role they play in nurturing the generations, well they we deserved to be! *smug face haha.

Aside from brushing up my domestic goddess skills, I also spend money time on books. Plenty of books! Those I missed reading because of the so called busy life while studying. Hihi, I am so into Roza Roslan's books these days. She is the wife of Prof Kamil Ibrahim, the author of Travelog Haji; Mengubah Sempadan Iman. She writes mostly about her life, her experience with very enlightening values she learned along the way. So yeah, I hope I could finish all these piling books before housemanship starts.

Last 4 days, I just came back from Kedah and Perlis vacaycay! It was so awesome with these girls; Husna Z, Iman and Mira. TripKampungGirls what we call ourselves. I got to see paddy fields (Kg Tok Keling) up close for the first time. Walking between petak sawah (with white trousers, what a genius tiqah sahmah -_-) witnessing a big black mouse scurrying into a hole (terperanjat iolls), having a taste of kerabu pucuk paku by Husna's Tok. Meeting old friends and new kind people, visiting Malaysia lovely tourist spots, Gua Kelam and Padang Besar (like I'm not Malaysian hehe). Husna is a goooood driver, like seriously, I am so inspired. I think I could drive instantly! But nope, when I got home, I am still that tiqah sahmah who got the car keys out just to heat the engine HAHAHAHA I'm so pathetic I know, lol whatever! ^_^")

Hmm I wish I could tell everything here, but no, I dont want to. My head is thinking and wondering and doubting myself. Since last month. *insert Celine Dion's At Seventeen song in background, so much love for this woman's music. Mostly about myself. About getting on the next phase of life. Working and committing. Phew, it sounds so adulthood. (LOL, how old do you think you are again, tiqah sahmah?) So many commitments isnt it? Well, being human is a responsibility itself. So yeah, do whatever it takes to get you to your final abode in Jannah.

Fighting!! :)

Pls pray for me, okay. #doakanyangbaikbaikje . Lol, thats the hashtag we came up with during travelling with TripKampungGirls. :)

Try count how many LOL and HAHA in this post. I think I am easily amused these days haha. See?

Ok, till then.

Attachment X-Files

Salam.

Just to jot down few things about what I've seen and learned throughout my attachment days in PK UTM. Basically, its nothing much compared to what you might see in hospitals but to me those kind of experience is just overwhelming and so memorable.

1. Blood taking. Scientific term is venipuncture.

Blood is the main 'vehicle' of our body, so it carries along all sorts of things inside it like the circulating antigens, antibodies, cells, virus, hormones so on and so forth. So, lets just say doctors could diagnose your illness based on your blood analysis.

During attachment, most people asked why their blood look so dark and black. Well, the blood is like that because it comes from the veins ie deoxygenated ie contains deoxyhemoglobin ie darker. And to some extent some people blood look a bit viscous compared to others.

Anyhow, I managed to take blood samples from a number of patients with obvious veins. Haha it is satisfying to see the blood oozes into the syringe. I felt like a dracula for a bit. XD
Of course, there were times when the blood wont come out. Sometimes, it looks like a vein but when you poke inside there is none. I know, disappointing right.

2. Minor procedure.

-Abscess draining from a Psoriasis patients, and from back of ears of a male.
-Broken nail extraction from a female.
-Ear toiletting in patients with impacted ear wax etc
-Wound dressing for minor accidents
-Minor suture for opened wound
-Vaccination of HPV intramuscularly

3. Pregnancy check up.

-Calculating (estimated due date) EDD from (last menstrual period) LMP. According to Naegel's Rule you just minus 3 months and add 7 days from the LMP.

eg: LMP = 17/10/2012
     EDD  = 24/7/2013

-Measuring fetal growth according to mom's bump measurement. I dont know the shortform for this (not MBM of course). Measurement done from fundus of bump ie below the xiphoid process till the superior pubic bone. The measurement (inch) should be +/- 2 from fetus age. But doesn't apply to almost due babies (eg: 36th weeks). You dont want mom's stomach to explode due to its hugeness right. How bright Allah is. He created everything so perfectly!

eg: measurement should be 22-26 inch for fetus of 24 weeks old. You have a round calendar chart to calculate the week easily.

-Palpating the bump to find the head of fetus. Its round like coconut and fits nicely in your palm when palpated. Its firm compared to other parts of the mom's bump. Might get used to it with further practice and experience.

-Hearing fetus heartbeats. Dud dud dud dud dud . It is sooo fast as fetal heart rate normally is very high compared to us adults, ranging from 120-160 beats per minute. Should be heard as rapid and regular dud dud dud dud dud. We dont count the beats, rather just confirm its rhythm and regularity. Or sometimes, we ask the mother to record the baby movement. Should be more than 10 movements in 12 hours duration. Will easily detect any abnormality in rhythm and regularity with further practice and experience.

4. Ultrasounds

-Kidney ultrasound. Male complains of rt hypochondriac pain. We started checking on lt hypochondriac first. As lt kidney is overlaid by spleen from front, we place the probe from patient's back. On the other hand, we place the probe from front for rt kidney sonography. And there you go, watching the vulnerable images, hardddd to understand. Gotta have firm grasp in anatomy to fully understand and analyse the images though.

-Fetal ultrasound.

Don't really get these weird looking sonograph due to its always changing shape and looks. But yeah. Will get used to them with practice later on, inshaAllah. Here, we see, 4D ultrasound of the fetus. We see the pumping heart with 4 chambers, the hockey stick shaped femur, the biparietal head diameter (BHD).

Ok, thats all for now. Will add more to this file later on. InshaAllah! :)
Attachment is a mere labour to gain experience, to apply, to observe, to learn and to practice.
It is no doubt and goes without telling super duper exhausting. At least for me. Haha yeah I am a lazy bum, duduk rumah goyang kaki kind of person, so when I have to give out extra effort everyday (and without payment too) I become soooooooo tired. But of course, worth all the sweat. :)

Existing doctors might tell you the reality of being a doctor. Its not easy. But you gotta endure it with much perseverance, be ready to get scolded, but yeah we learn from it. Take it from bright side, we remember fierce teachers more right, the one who were so mean to us back then, but contributed a lot to moulding the you present now.

InshaAllah, I'm ready! I always pray that I always will. :)

Till then, wassalam.

Camping Ganu Kita

Salam 'alaik.

Hai semua. I know, lama betul tak post pape kat sini kan. Siap missed sebulan lagi tu. Anyway, has been up to quite many stuff since holiday started. Nice nice. Compared to last year punya cuti yang banyak sangat 'tak buat pape'.

The other day, I went to Peladang Setiu Agro Resort. Mula-mula tu aku seriously ingat tidur dalam chalet or dorm tau sebab resort kannnn. Sekali........ tidur dalam khemah! Haha nasib baik Iman bagitau sebelum naik bas. Sempat la beli selipar kat 7e berhampiran. XD

Anyway, memang banyak benda belajar kat sana. Ada ustaz cerita pasal Hadis 'kapal'. Aha, serious 'tercampak' dengan syarah hadis ni. Generally about 'Amar Makruf Nahi Munkar' , nasihat-menasihati sesama manusia la.
Nasihat sebab sayang.
Nasihat sebab kita tahu.
Nasihat sebab kita boleh dipertanggungjawabkan kalau tak nasihat.
And nasihat sebab kita taknak sama-sama 'karam' kalau BIAR.

Huhu.
And I know.
Not that easy to accept advice, no? :)
And not easy to advice as well. Sebab the person we advice tu will always scrutinize ourselves. Is him or her baik enough to advice me? (we cannot help it, cause we in fact would do the same if we were in their shoes, maybe.....) So nak taknak memang kena 'jaga' ourselves kan.

*semoga berjaya!*

//

And from that camping, I realized yang my kawan-kawan perempuan ni sangat terer sebenarnya. Aha, not kidding okay. Nampak je ayu, rupa-rupanya boleh lepas monkey rack macam kacang goreng je, the trainer cakap ''sebijik macam yang kat Sepilok tu'' haha. Then ada titi goyang-goyang tu, all of them passed it! Sorang pun tak jatuh dalam kolam kat bawah tu tau (I nyorok-nyorok skipped haha). Then kena panjat tembok and jump to the other side, ada kena jalan atas tembok yang makin tinggi (balancing test). She's really a good friend, knight in shining armour (in disguise) haha. Kita dah nak patah balik dah tau bila dah tinggi-tinggi tu. Sekali Nadhirah kata ''you can do it Tiqah, seriously awak boleh!'' HAHA then aku paksa dia pimpin tangan sambil jalan atas tu. Cramped habis kaki lepas berjaya turun dari tembok tu. XD Tarzan swing haaa kat dalam kolam tarzan swing ni tapak kaki terluka kena batu tau. It was painful of course. Terus skipped yang lepas-lepas tu untuk rawatan. Nasib baik doktor ramai hihi. Semua tolong bersihkan luka, keluarkan pasir dari luka, and letak dressing semua. The perks of camping with them medical students, instant treatment. (Ceh, actually, everyone could learn first aid).

Also kat sane tak boleh pilih camp mate, dia main letak je. So, I ended up dengan sorang 1st year and 2 orang 2nd years. Haha nice one, kalau tak segan nak kenal-kenal kan. Kena letak 1 khemah baru boleh gelak-gelak open up sikit. It actually is not that bad bila kena mixed up dengan orang tak kenal. :)

Finished the 4 days camping, round Pasar Payang beli kepok (wajib) and went back home alone by bus. Quite a lonely 10 hour journey, I tell you. Arrived home safely dengan kaki terjengket-jengket haha. Such a memorable days.

Till then.
Wasalam.

Taraaaa......

Salam 'alaik,

I am uber happy with the new layout. Background pic is taken from Cath Kidston. And yeah you can say I am all hooked up with her designs now. Pretty vibrant coloured  little flowers sure have its own special place in my eyes yo. Thank you Cath Kidston for existing! I sure gonna visit ur boutique when I get my foot in UK. (In sha Allah).

Anyway, yesterday I attended a concert! You know Opick? The guy with great voice singing Islamic songs. Truth be told, I did knew him before for his unique name, listened to few of his songs but now I'm a fan of him! Seriously if you get time to 'tadabbur' his songs, go ahead. He sure knows how to write and compose his songs well. Also, there was this one nasheed group of Indonesian students performing yesterday. And they were amazing as well. They did their music not by percussions but by their own mouth. Acapella we call it, dont we? It is. The group is called Dai Nada. Go search them on youtube! I recommend you hear 'Satu Harapan' or 'Mali Rabbun Siwah'. Gorgeous! XD

The concert intended on collecting funds for Palestine. In sha Allah tomorrow they are going to Gaza to meet our families there. May Allah ease their journey, ameen.

//

On Wednesday we finished our midterm exam for GIT module. All I can say is, that was a veghhyyyyy hard paper, almost equivalent to that of CNS. T_T but everyone was saying the same thing though so I could feel a tad relieve maybe? Ye la, to know it wasn't only you who feels the exam was hard, its enough to relax ur head a bit. So go Nurul (and others)! You got another month to revise the remaining part of GIT, break a leg! Or rather, add some power more to your glasses! LOL jangan okeh, my lens is thick enough, thank you. Talking about my rabunness, Im thinking of doing Lasic. You know that laser treatment to correct your sight. Its cheap here in Egypt but they say we've to wait until 24 to do it cause that's when your eyeball stops growing. That's what they say la I dunno what the real thing is. Gotta ask my auntie la for this. Wait when I get back to Malizia.

//

Today. (dont bother to write in chronology haha).

We had basketball tournament! The game is for girls only and held between sections minus section 5 and 6 la because they are all guys and guys play rugby. Hehehe kidding. I went a tad late cause I got headache attack this morning, might be caused by last night concert super loud sound system. I kid you not, my head almost explode (naudzubillah). By the time the concert was over, I already had the headache and it went thru the night till the morning.

Even so, I managed to present myself proudly (tetibe haha) at the court to cheer for them. Though my section didnt make it, its a good game really cause my housemates' section came out as champion! Cayalah! My own roomate makes me proud (macam mak-mak banggakan anak) for her numerous goals! Terer ar ko sha, boleh dapat anugerah 'Golden Shooter' (sbb kalau football Golden Boot kan or whatever).

And my fav players are of course Sha and Fatkhai! Congrats korang!

//

Tomorrow.

Classes will start again. With lots of things ahead. Final sem for preclinical years. Ngaaaaa.

I guess, I will stop here. Its been quite a while I haven't write this long. Yeah I have to wait for the mood to come to be able to type continuously and smoothly like today. Wokay, toodlesssss enjoy your days, live your life, carry your responsibilities like a responsible person and whatnots. Bye.

Wassalam. :D

Whoops

I'm missing my home very much right now, I kept recalling my last holiday. That was the best and filled holiday I've ever had to tell you the truth. Maybe cause the duration was short so I had to do everything quickly so nothing was left out. Ended up I was out of the house almost everyday. Just like working people do you know. Got up in the morning, rushed out, went straight to the bank, issued a new card, bought books, groceries shopping yada yada yada.

Now, I may not look busy physically but mentally yes I do I do very much. Haha. (Who in the world could bother scanning ur head miss atiqah?). Nevertheless, its good to give ur brain a workout. Would be useful in preventing Alzheimer in future, right. InsyaAllah.

Whoops, its Isya' already. Gotta stop this rambling. Toodles!

Raya Haji 1433

Assalamualaikum. Sobah el-khair. Good morning!

Huhu pepagi lagi dah mengarang cerita utk blog ni kan. Well... :)

Apa macam raya entuu sekalian? Nice one? Macam-macam jadi raya haji kali ni. Tapi semua best la Alhamdulillah..

First day, cam biasa kita solat raya kat MARA. Tapi slacked okey. Kenapa? Punyalah aku rushing bagai nak rak sekali sampai sutuh tengok dah tahiyat akhir dah. Sedih kemainnnn. Aku pun turun tingkat 8 sembahyang berjemaah dgn Mekli. Pastu dengar khutbah, camwhoring sikit (eh sikit ke haha) then makan nasi impit dgn gulai ayam. Breakfast aku la tu kiranya. Hm marvellous y'all. Haha.

Balik rumah, siap-siap pergi open house rumah Kak Kinah pulak. Habis after Zuhur then balik rumah. Rumah aku pun jemput jugak certain close friends. Tak dapek la nak jemput satu batch. Periuk rumah aku 24 inci je haha. Lepas tu gi amek gambar raya kat studio dgn Kak Teha and housemates (kemain) kat My Studio. Lepas habis pung pang pung pang balik rumah terus terlelap. Penattttttttttt. Malam tu pulak masa aku  ketiduran, Sha accident dlm shower. Siannnnn sangat. Haha.

The day after tomorrow pulak, pergi Cairo. Ada daurah pasal I'dad Murobbi/ Persediaan Seorang Murobbi. Ngeeeee cuak kebebeyh tapi takpe. We have sacred mission hacewahhhh. Nice la daurah tu. Memang banyak menjawab persoalan persoalan yg dah lama berlegar dlm benak aku. Ustaz penceramah pun best. Penerangan dia mantap! And the bi'ah masa kat situ memang priceless. Seriously awesome. I wonder when we'll be able to constantly live in that environment. InsyaAllah, one fine day.

Nadhirah and I slept over kat rumah kawan Nadhirah. Besar sangat tau rumah tu. 4 bilik utk 1600 LE. And each room boleh muat 2 queen beds okay bayangkan sekarang luas dia acamne. Aku kecemburuan. Haha. Tapi bersyukur ok dgn rumah kat Alex ni. Not bad jugak sebenarnye. :) Oh on the way nak pergi rumah kawan Nadhirah tu, pakcik yg bawak autobus tu seriously like seriously annoying tahap babun. Bukan pakcik sebenanrnye, die muda sikit dlm 20's macam tu. Tapi emosi die amboiiii kalah atuk usia 60 tahun. Sabar aje lah. Kitorang dah la exhausted tahap moksya time tu dengan mabuk gedebang gedebung atas bus tu sekali dapat pakcik tu pulak kan. Memang la memang mengundang kemarahan ahkak!.

Esoknya ke haritu ek, aku lupa siapa yg cakap, tapi nasihat dia camni la  lebih kuraang

'Kalau nak tengok diri awak ni camne, masa awak tengah sakit, penat, lapar atau bentuk-bentuk stress yang lain, cuba tengok reaksi awak pada orang-orang sekeliling. Tak kisahla yang annoying atau tak. Tapi that's your true self''. Dush dush right to the heart.

Mungkin ada excuse la sikit kan. Sebab hey mana boleh expect orang tengah migraine nak buat-buat tak sakit pulak. Tapi kalau dia memang jenis penyabar, takdelah  dia lempang orang-orang yg bising kat sebelah dia. Ha begitu. Paling-paling pun dia duduk at a corner diam-diam, sambil urut kepala dgn minyak kapak. Sambil rasa nak lempang orang yang bising. Dalam hati jelah. Tak buat pun. Haha. (Ehem ehem).

:) And the key point is always to be patient like Rasulullah S.A.W. InsyaAllahhhh.

Ok dah, nak gi kelas. Bye.

Babbling bout things before Egypt!

Salam 'alaik people! :)

Mak ada kerja sikit kat sini, and habis esok so after that akn bertolak ke Melaka pergi rumah pakcik utk jumpa my nenda terchenta. T____T huhu aku bukan ape tetibe sedih sayu nak balik dah ni. Isk isk isk.

//

Anyway, tadi sempat mandi swimming pool lagi! Huwawawa addicted lah pulak makcik sorang ni. Macam nak mati penat berenang tadi. Dah mcm duyung (perasan) terlebih serotonin plak tadi kan haha. Tapi okeh la nak buat lepas gian utk setahun punye stok. Sbenonye kat Egypt pun ade pool tu tapi tak penah nak pergi nye pulak. Swimming suit pun tak bwk. Beli kat sana mungkin? Wah kau belum sampai sana dah plan nak beli apa semua kan kehkhkeh.

Aku tak sabar la nak makan aiskrim Falaky! Bunduk (hazelnut) ngn karamel woah gabungan mantap! Gitu! Aiskrim ni antara motivasi aku nak balik Alex tau. Hm apa lagi yek? Jom buat list!

1. Aiskrim Falaky
2. Sharing akuuuu!!! Lama sangat tak jumpa, aku ni hmmph balik Malaysia hmmmph hanguih mampuih keghah bak kate Ustaz Jo dulu.
3. Kawan kawan semua. Aku rindu Fatin, Rai, Sha, Melly, Faz, Iman dll. Mesti balik ni banyak citer aku confirm!
4. Sesi unpack barang. Hahaha ni memang ah. Kumpul kat ruang tamu, pastu bukak beg memasing pastu gebang gebang, 'Aku bawak kicap Habhal Cap Kipas Udang 2 botol!' 'Aku bawak Ruski Tomyam 4 paket hoiiii sape nak beli ngan aku tak bolehhh!' hahaha dan seterusnya.
5. Dr, Fouad Anat. Haha apehal tetibe cikgu anat boleh masuk ni? Saje je kan . Tapi kan one thing for sure Dr anatomy semuaaaaanya awesome. Like me. Eh. Maksud aku aku sangat sangat suka Dr Anat. Dr Aiman, Dr Alia, Dr Ganeid, Dr Atiqah. Eh. Dr Atiqah last sekali tu saje je mungkin la mungkin nanti. Hehe.
6. Hmmmm
7. Hmmmmmmmm
8. Aku kena belajar rajin rajin, kasi upgrade sikit result tu. Sekali sekala biar terbeliak siket abang aku tu, kasi die cam tak percaye sikit kan like 'Ini ke Nurul yg suke berebut nugget hotdog dgn aku dulu'. Ha begitu. Tapi die terror arh. Susah! Tapi boleh je kalau aku nak (sambil tolak hidung guna ibu jari) cewah haha taknak kalah.

Dah bagi 8 tu cukupla ye. Huh nampak no tak semangat nak balik sane kan. Paling tak best sekali sekali paling benci tak suka nyampah rase nak sepak sekali sebab bila balik sana nanti mesti kena jalan sengsorang balik dr kelas. Awal2 tu Nadhirah teman tapi lepas die dah sampai tu! Sebenarnye dlm 1km lagi nak tiba rumah aku, tapi tak suke la sengsorang wei. T____T. Hmph! Kengkadang okey tapi most of the time NO! Aku jln laju gile haha pastu memang aku tak tengok langsung orang Arab ke ape ke terus laju2 nk balik rumah je. Kalau nasib tak baik, kene tahan dgn baba rumah kan. Borak borak minum syai kejap baru naik rumah. Hahahha perasan sangat nak minum syai ngn baba. Boleh bla.
Tapi kalau gerak sengsorang senang. Tak susahkan orang, boleh suka hati nak gi mana. Nampak indipendent kan. Nampak je la tapi LOL.

Eh k la. Aku nak happy kan diri before balik Alex. Hello tiqah ko tak rindu ke kat baba tu.......punye anak? Ziyad yg comel tu? Hikhik. Ziyad tu memang ah nak pengsan aku sbb die terlalu comel! Tapi bapak ko tu garang seh. Sikit la. Hm Arab. What do u expect?

Takdela mengarut sgt pun. Tapi adela siket. Wakakaka aku sendiri pun tak paham kejap siket kejap banyak kan. Papela. Yg penting esok boleh jumpa sedara mara sesikit kat Melaka tu yahooo! InsyaAllahhhh.

Ok dah, goodnight!
Wassalam. :)

I was in a good mood so.....

Assalamualaikum.

Hehe, I'm seeing you again today. I guess I am in the good mood to be blogging everyday. It's been awhile since blogging became part of my routine.

Haishhh, I'm sweating. Tired. Not to the level of exhausted though cause I was just doing some indoor activities only. I baked another batch of pav tonight. It was funny of myself to make pavs for 3 nights in a row and my mother had started complaining of her depleting eggs stock, LOL. As pav only use the egg whites, she had been planning to make 'kuih lapis' with the remaining egg yolk. But making kuih lapis sure is one tough work cause you have to make the layers one by one, no? Truth be told, I dunno myself. Haha. Let the google answers it, okay.

*After one minute of googling:
It does have to be layered one by one. Waaaa so 'renyah' one, oooo. Next time, maybe.

So, I used only 2 eggs this time instead of the usual 4. Cause I'm making only a few to be given to my neighbour. Buuuuuuuut, so sad! I was making honey cornflakes also this time. When the pavs were done, it was the cornflakes' turn to use the oven. I know something was not right if I put the pavs outside the oven alas I still did it cause hello my cornflakes needed the oven too. So, while I was waiting for the cornflakes to turn golden-ish, I noticed that my pavs had descended a little. SOMETHING IS EXTREMELY NOT RIGHT! I scrutinized them prudently and ting!!!! I remembered a professional baker told me (read: she penned it in her blog) ''Let your pavs cool down in the oven by leaving the door ajar and do not take it out right after you're done!''

I was gobsmacked!!!! Aiyoyoooo!!!

 T_______________T.

The point is, this time around the pavs texture on the outside is perfect! (seriously that confident?) It feels crusty (rangup) and hard. I mean it was crustier than the previous batches. But, I let it outside too soon which made my pavs quite unhappy (being very empathic here). Thus, they shrinked! Hahaha such a sad ending for my pav story. Nevertheless, I hope it still tastes okay although the look is not that promising. But I think no problem la cause outside, the pav will be decorated with bright fruits, covering its inside ugliness. Heyyyy, this pav is really standing on the side of 'please judge a book by its cover'.

End of pav story.

Now, cornflakes turn. HAHA. Hey, don't you think its funny cause I was busy making kuihs at the end of Raya? Ish ish ish okay I find it funny of myself. Huhu.

After I was done with the cornflakes, I came to think of this.

It's easy and satisfying to mix the cornflakes with its comrades (the honey, raisins, nuts etc) but it is not very joyful to put it inside their cups one by one, using spoon. Huyoh, I was standing halfway during the job and halfway by sitting on the floor. My legs were aching and my veins had their hard time pushing blood up to my heart LOL talk about 'meds' joke huh? Luckily my 'nenek saudara' (a term which I don't mind translating) was  kind enough to help me with it.

And after the cornflakes came out of the oven, I had to wait for it sometime, to let it cool enough to be placed inside the tupperwares. Blergh, I'm really not in a good term with the word 'waiting'. So, I decided to pen how tired I was in this blog and suddenly while I was penning my thoughts, my mom came into my room. So, I hastily open a new FB tab (cause blogging is kind of embarassing to be read when it is not yet published by anyone else except the blogger herself). I found my mom bringing a cornflakes at her hands. She came to say she had put the cornflakes inside the tupperwares! AWWWW WHAT AN AWESOMENESS!!!! I shouted out in my heart. I felt like hugging my mom instead I just said 'I love you, Mak'!! Hahahah. I am now relieved. :)

Anyway, my cornflakes turn out good. Not excellent enough to my tastebuds. It lacks some sugar. But it has everything else. Hehehehe time to compliment the cornflakes maker. LOL. But on the bright shining side, it is good for me cause I don't want to end with diabetes at such a young age, Nauzubillahi minzalik.

So, in a nutshell, can you guess why I did these? At such a day?

Cause my brothers are coming home today! Hehehehe. This is happening! And besides, the time I have left in Malaysia is not that much anymore. And also, I am in a good mood today. I just feel like making something. Actually I want to make fried ice cream some more, but my mom had given me that warning-please-control-your-feeding-centre-in-your-hypothalamus-look  HAHA so I guess enough on the sugar! My mom need her share of egg for breakfast anyway. LOL. Sorry mom if you  happen to read this. :)

Okay, that's all. Good night, and do take care, people.

Eh, one last thing. I just remember, tomorrow is going to be my friends' happy day. They happen to be the first couple from our batch to get married. May Allah bless their relations, amin. Kinda sad cause I couldn't attend. But, I believe my prayer could reach both of you anyhow. It's wireless remember?

SELAMAT PENGANTIN BARU, SHEILA AND KAMIL!

Wassalamu 'alaikum. :)

Of Going Back and Pavlova

Assalamualaikum.

Okayyy as for today, it's already 13th September. Sigh*. Another 19 days more to be going back to Alex. How sad. Huhu. It's time to get out of the nest and face the reality. Cause being away from home, away from your parents and security, you're all set on your own. And your friends. Go to the market to buy your own food stock, meet the house landlord to pay bills, so on and so forth.

You are actually an adult before you know it. But definitely, there's whole good thing behind these acts. For example, at least you got to know how to do things and how to handle them for your parents. And it can boost your confidence level. (though I find its easier to talk to Egyptians than Malaysians sometimes).

One thing for sure:
Some chosen people in Malaysia (me) have to face really bad customer service. It is true that emotions can't be forced but then again, don't you know that hospitality is what Malaysia took pride in when promoting herself at world level? So, be fair.  To the customers. Yesterday, I was asking to the lady who took care of the weighing section in AEON. But got replied very late. What is this?! I just asked whether this coconut thing inside a tupperware should be weighed or not? Yes or no? Yet the choice of answer seems a little bit difficult for her to blurt out. Anyway, she did answer me, so I guess it's okay. For the record, I don't like getting ignored. Especially by someone who should really be paying attention to me.

But, I didn't deny the fact that there are still some workers who are brilliant enough when entertaining customers. It's just the fact how this simple atrocity could destroy a good mood of a person in a blink of seconds. So there you got a title of baddddd service.

//

Anyhow, back to the story. I was saying holiday is getting to its end so Imma make it the most wonderful in every ways possible, InsyaAllah. By doing anything to make my parents and family happy (like cooked for them and planned a holiday), and get my mind to set how excellent I've made out of my longgggggg holiday. Eventhough the fact that I've abused some laws of jetlagged, I think I've bring it to a whole new level. Huhu.

The day before yesterday, I made pavlova. It was a so-so. I dunno if the taste was good or not cause I've never eaten one before, so I couldn't compare mine with the original one. Then, I made another batch yesterday night. I made them in multiple small portions so it's easy to distribute. And I can conclude that the latest batch is a lot more improved and better than the previous ones. So a yay to myself, huhu.

The pav is not a cake but a meringue-based dessert which is topped with sour fruits like strawberries (they are sweet in other countries), kiwi, grapes, oranges and literally any fruits you have in the fridge.  AND WHIPPED CREAM omo the cream tastes divine!! Ok I'm being biased cause I'm such a sucker for dairy products. Huhu.

The structure of pav is a tad brittle biscuit-like on the outside, and very soft like melty marshmallow inside which is soooooooo sweet and I mean sweet in its very precise definition. So, that's why we have to pair it with sour fruits so when the pav gets into your mouth, all you can taste is a divine blend of sweet-sour melting and creaaaammy texture. It's nice. But I give up after one pav. Cause it's the same as eating cakes. I won't go beyond 2 slices of cake at one time cause it's too creamy and make you gag. Erkk.

The pic is yet to be uploaded here, but you can see them in my Instag and Twitter. Just saying okay, not bragging.

And boy, I'm counting days to the weekend, seriously. Hope it would be nice and memorable and they enjoy it. Some quick review about it later, I think. Next, I have some projects to be done with this blog. Some unpenned stories about Raya and open house and my holiday. So, till then. Do take care, peeps! :)

Wassalam. :D

Dilemma bibik

Assalamualaikum.

I'm gonna write about pembantu rumah/ amah/ bibik/ maid etc. Aku adelah seorang budak yg hidup dengan bibik sejak usiaku masih hijau. Makan, minum, pakaian aku semua diuruskan oleh bibik. Beli bapak la yang belikan. Tapi masak, gosok, basuhkan semuanya bibik yang buat.

Kerja rumah pun tak pernah buat. Tapak tangan memang lembut selembut baldu lah orang kata kan (haha takdela). Sangat senang hidup. Sebab tu gemuk. Tak pernah exercise sapu sampah, sidai baju, gosok baju dan seumpamanya sedari kecil. Hehehehe. XD

Aku tahu je nak basuh baju macam mana. Nak lipat baju, sapu sampah semua tu macam mana. Sebab aku kan duduk asrama. Aku takde lah selekeh tak reti uruskan diri masa kat asrama. Tapi bila kat rumah, ada orang yg buatkan semua tu. So, aku pikir buat apa nak buat jugak? Baik aku gi tengok TV, buat kerja kursus, main friendster (masa ni blog n fb belum wujud), main message2 ngn budak laki-tapi-kat-sekolah-tak-bercakap-langsung-langsung (ni memang lagha yg sangat dikesalkan dan memalukan HAHAHAH ala tapi korang pun pernah buatkan, bile dah besar ni pikir balik memang tah hape hape je lah ek, eh panjang pulak monolog die).

17 tahun dengan bibik, adik bongsu aku dah masuk asrama, bibik pun resign. Lagipun die memang tengah sakit mase tu, die nak berubat kat kampung. Maka tinggallah aku (masa ni lepas SPM) terkontang-kanting buat kerja rumah sorang-sorang. Takla, berdua la sebenarnye campur mak sekali kan. Huhu. Serious wei, mase ni memang nak nangis sebab kena buat kerja rumah. Kena basuh baju, sidai baju, angkat baju, lipat baju, susun baju, masak baju, tanam baju, mop baju @#$&*()) oh tuhankuuuuuu punyelah aku amek masa sangat-sangat nak memuatkan diri aku dlm corak keadaan getir waktu tu. Ceh citer macam gi perang je padehal buat kerja rumah je pun. Haha.

Memang konflik jiwa raga dibuatnya. Tapi aku ingat masa ni aku tengah suka sangat memasak. Aku prefer memasak dari baking. So mase tunggu result tu, aku selalu masak hari-hari. Tu je la aku rajin buat. Tapi periuk, kuali lepas masak tu nak kena ulang 2, 3 kali dek mak aku, baru aku nak basuh. HAHAHAH.

Up till now, Alhamdulillah aku dah makin boleh terima kenyataan bahawa aku adalah perempuan. Woah ni statement mahal ni. Huhu. Aku jenis yg percaya setinggi manapun pendidikan a girl tu, die tetap kene reti buat kerja kat dapur. Doctors who can operate eyes, also can do the same to meats, and cakes. Pembantu rumah hanya membantu je. Bantu jaga anak and kerja-kerja domestik yg lain.

Nak tolong abah. Aku takdelah perfect mane pun. Kengkadang baju baru basuh tu berjam-jam dlm mesin tunggu aku sidaikan. Tapi aku memang garang ngan adik-adik aku. Diorang letak baju bersepah-sepah kat ruang tamu ke kat mana kan, memang aku keluarkan ayat-ayat berpuaka cepat cepat. Biar berdesing sikit telinga dengar. 'Nak aku buangkan dlm tong sampah ke seluar ni haaaaa?...perangai.....lelaki......malas....busuk....'  hahahhaha jahat kan membebel tapi best ar tengok diorang angkat balik baju tu, gi letak kat proper place. Kena ajar sikit kan. Dorang pun dlm fasa adaptasi jugak.

With time, semua pun dah pandai cooperate. Kalau Mur tu rajin tolong mesin rumput. Kalau Fadzli tu aku desak-desakkan sikit, tazkirahkan sikit pasal kerberkatan nak SPM, boleh la dia gi sidaikan baju. Yahooooo ni semua psikologi. HAHAHHA.

Akhir kalam, doakan aku sentiasa rajin nak berbakti kat mak abah aku ok. Kang tetibe tengah syok baca blog ke tengok movie 'Nurul.........., buatkan air teh o satu' Oh tuhannnnn, bergaduh ngan nafsu nak rentikan movie tu. HAHAHHAA. Tapi ni semua niat nak berbakti kepada orang tua, saham, saham, saham!. InsyaAllah.

Sekian sahaja, warkah spontan dari penulis. Selamat Hari Raya. Cerita raya update lain time okay. :)

Wassalam.

Rambles on Holiday

Assalamualaikum.

Okay, tonight, I'm gonna rant about anything. So expect a tsunami of words and 'HAHAHA' and anything. Cause yeah, anything. Like yeah, anything. Okay, I'm being super saiya-ly annoying here. So, moving on to first point.

MPH Online;
Recently I've ordered some books (3 books) from MPH Online. It says I will get the books in 3-5 working days time. I ordered them on 7th August and today is already 15th August. Exactly the 5th working days after 7th August. I've been very obedient coming out (covering every aurah possible) everyday to check the mailbox to see if anything has arrived but up to this day, I've been up to a total, big, humongous disappointment! Haiyoh, hurry up la weih! I've emailed them though about that. Hopefully, my books will turn up in the mailbox tomorrow. Please please please kamu jangan nakal MPH!!.

Of driving;
For the record, I've been very annoying to pester my dad on how the car is too big for me to drive (please, don't say I'm being riya' cause I just wanna story-tell you here). Yelah, I graduated from Berjaya Driving School (I'm not that 'Berjaya' anyway), driving a Kancil only, but suddenly I'm faced with a huge and gigantic 4WD which of course disturbed me in every way you could imagine. Okay, there's not much need for me to drive actually, but but but, sometimes I did wish badly I could drive. When my grandmother was here, I wished I can take her to shopping sayur and barang dapur in Tesco wherever la because she likes it. But, yeah, I am 'crippled' like that, pity me eh, up to the level, I even thought of hiring a driver. HAHAHA. True story, I'm laughing at myself!

But now, worry no more.

Came a day (I've forgotten the date) when I felt so motivated to drive, thanks to a friend. He said I have to give it a try, break the wall, the scaredy-cat me or any obstacles that keeps me from driving. So, I asked my dad to keep me company to somewhere. Well, we started in Taman Sutera cause normally the traffic is not as heavy as in the main road. So, we drove around and around (around around nak termuntah jugak sebab cuak sangat!). I managed to drive from Taman Sutera to bazaar Perling Mall to home. Along the way, I did took a U-turn which was verrrrrry daring of me (phewh berpeluh haku), crossed a junction and side-parked quite cacat-ly but hey I managed to bring us home, unscathed, Alhamdulillah. HAHAHAA The happiest, the most bangga-able moment, the most ujub moment I felt when I finally reached home! It was indescribable! Such a victory! Like I was freed from an unexplained prison I made myself. Alhamdulillah.

But I didn't forget, everything goes back to Him. Thanks to Him cause He protects me, put the courage inside me, blesses me with a patient father, so on and so forth.

Now that I can drive (InsyaAllah), I'm gonna use it wisely. One of my friend once told me, she learnt how to drive because it would be easier for her to bring adik-adik to jaulah, go to usrah etc. The point is, her niat when driving is for God. I was totally gobsmacked, right at the heart! The power of niat and sincere tazkirah. I hope I'm giving benefits with this newfound ability and it wouldn't be a great embarrassment anymore to change my P (probationary) license to a competent one. Teehee.

Points to Ponder:

I realized that at some level of our live, we are faced with obstacles, a great uncertainty which could make you feel so down, so inferior, so low self-esteem. But, to my new discovery, it all depends on yourself to remain at that place, remain a coward, or to run away from those negativities, to break the wall, jump over it, and head to freedom. Because this is life. You feel, you learn, you apply, you decide, you anything!

Sidenotes:

But the most daring one from my siblings would be my youngest brother la aka Mur the Jemmy. (nama kena merah sebab dia nakal!) HAHAH. He's safely home now. He arrived today during sahur and is early for Raya holiday cause he skipped school in an illegal way. Students staying in hostel call this manner as 'fly'. Yeah, he flew back to his nest. HAHA his story is too long to jot in this entry. Maybe next time. Up to today, he has received 3 phone calls from his teachers for this bad bad job. All I can say is create a big 'network' cause they might or always save you! Hehe.

Ramadhan almost comes to its end. Let's grab the opportunity!! (hello hello myself).

Wassalam. ;)

10-13 August 2012; Jalan-jalan Johor.

Assalamualaikum.

Jiwang lagi sekali. XD Apape pun, tarikh kat atas ni memang waktu aku bertemu dengan orang-orang yg dah lama aku tak bersua muka, berjabat tangan berpeluk mesra. XD

REMINDER Maahad;

This is the main story kenapa aku berada di Muar haritu. Haiyoh, so aku jumpa dengan students and kawan-kawan lama je lah. Jumpa Zahin. Liyana, Syakila, Jay, Nana, Najwa dan seniors dan juniors kat sekolah dulu. Nama yang takde sebab aku selalu jumpa kat Mesir. Hehe.

Oh, ada Form 5 yang ingat aku lagi. Sungguh terharu lah aku. Eh tetibe aku teringat aku sempat jadi Form 4 selama sebulan kat Maahad sebelum pindah SMAPL!! Aku pun 'Eh awak, ha'a la akak dulu dorm tu. Hehe awak ni form bape bla bla bla and the rest is history. Alia tu Form 1 masa aku Form 4, lepas aku refresh hippocampus aku bebanyak kali, baru aku nampak muka dia samar-samar. Hewhew.

Bukan aku bangga, aku cuma terharu sebab masih diingati. Huhu.

Jumpa Najwa lagi and adik Sufiyyah yang comel tu. Najwa selaku boss bawak kereta tolong hantar and ambil huuu terhutang budi sudah dengan die.

Pt. Sakai, Muar;

Ini rumah nenda aku lah. Pergi mengeluarkan keladi dari tanah, mengenal pokok kesum yang renek tu, mengait rambutan guna galah panjang nak terkehel tengkuk aku mendongak lama noh. Toklah the best memasak kari daging + roti jala, asam pedas ikan tenggiri. Haha Toklah bekalkan Fazira banyak benda wei dari keladi sampai ke benih belimbing kecik-kecik tu.

Pastu tahan bus depan rumah nenek aku utk pergi Batu Pahat. Haaa, ini agak kelakar bagi aku. Seriously wei, aku tak sangka boleh tahan bus depan rumah nenek aku pergi Batu Pahat. Aku ingatkan kene pergi bus stand kat bandar tu. Mati-mati aku tak percaya kat nenek aku sampai nenek aku kate 'orang duduk sini dah 20 tahun dah laa!' Haaa nasib baik Asmah ada, tolong tahankan bus semua. Fazira ngan aku naik bus siap bawak keladi, rambutan, daun kesum ape semua tu tau, jangan memahen. HAHA. Tapi, best!

IPTHO, Batu Pahat;

Sabrina, Fazira, terima kasih sebab banyak motivate aku indirectly. From the way you guys discussed things, from the way you guys think, from the way you guys talk, semuanya ada saham masing-masing XD. Hee aku rasa kelako dan sedikit malu la pulak cakap camni tapi ahh tak kira nak cakap jugak. Haha.

Trivia: Aku dengan Sab dulu umpama belangkas kat Maahad Muar. Fazira ni pulak kawan baik Sab kat KISAS. Pastu aku terjumpa pulak Fazira kat KTT melarat ke Alexandria. Nampak tak permainannye di situ? Huhu. Alhamdulillah, siapa tak bersyukur dikurniakan kawan macam diorang ni.

Pt. Sulong, Batu Pahat;

Aku dah sampai kampung Fazira! Ahahaha dia bawak aku naik motor tahu tak?! Last naik motor masa darjah 4 kot, itu pun takat pusing-pusing kat taman, pakcik aku bawak. Haha. Pergi kilang nenek Faz ni. Kilang kerepek. Ramainye umat manusiaaaaa hai. Selepas bersesak beratur tunggu kerepek ubi pedas, balik semula rumah nenek Faz, then balik Johor Bahru. Orang Johor lama-lama panggil Johor Bahru ni Johor. Macam orang Mesir jugak. Die panggil Kaherah tu, Masr (Mesir). Balik Johor dengan ayah and abang Faz.

Terima kasih daun keladi, lain kali nak tumpang lagi kat ayah Faz huhu sebab hantar aku sampai depan rumah. Terbaiklah ayah Faz. Ayah die dulu join St. John kat sekolah, pangkat tinggi okeh Ketua Pegawai Turus Kawasan ke ape nama die tah. Haha banyak okeh pakcik share. Antaranya:

Kalau orang minum racun, nak bagi apa?
Jawapan: bagi air garam pekat. Utk neutralizekan balik racun tu, nanti orang tu akan termuntah.

Kalau orang accident patah tulang belakang, ha acane nak transfer die masuk dlm ambulans. Guna pengusung tak boleh.
Jawapan: Kena guna selimut!

Kalau orang sakit perut nak bagi apa?
Jawapan: Hiris kunyit  halus, pastu rebus, minum air die.

Macamne nak stopkan bleeding?
Jawapan: Ligate the part gune kain, ikat ketat-ketat, every 1 minute kene loosekan ikatan tu bagi darah lalu, pastu ikat balik.

Ha banyaklah lagi. Tak tertaip aku kat sini. Hehe.

//

In a nutshell, aku bersyukur dikurniakan, dipertemukan dengan orang-orang sebaik ini. Alhamdulillah. Ok dah dah la tu gelakkan aku (khas utk Fazira). Terer jugak aku menyulam untai kata pemanis bicara camni eh. Hehe kidding!

Sekian, wassalam.

What I Did in Muar

Assalamualaikum.

Hello guys. How's your Ramadhan going on? Actually I just came back from Muar. Went there to pay my little brother and cousin a visit at their school. Had buka puasa with them and off they went back again to the school. I really love Muar because it was there where my big family rooted down. My datuk nenek moyang all came from Muar. I am a true JOHORean minus tempat lahirlah. Hehe.

What's gotten me into typing down this entry is because when I was in Muar, my friend came to my grandmother's house! Seriously teruja like sangat awesome! HAHAA. Okay you get the feeling? We've been apart for almost a year and met up again seeing each other has changed for good. Me of course makin chubby and whatnot and Najwa! She's become really mature and responsible big sister! She came along with her two cute little sisters and 2 meat pies! And she drives the car FTW! Actually I really look up to girls who drive cars. For me they are a symbol of bravery hehe. Cause for some reason I still don't manage to put up the courage to drive one. Teehee. I'm thinking of hiring a woman driver actually hahaha. So who's up for the job? (dreaming)

Anyhow, I went to Najwa's house afterwards. Najwa being herself blurting every stories of hers to me and I listened to her (I hope I can listen to lecturers like this) with a little interruptions here and there. Am so excited and happy for her! :D And then I get to contact my other treasured friend, Sabrina. Heee, excuse the extreme excitedness cause I AM extra overwhelmed by them teehehehe. We've been through thick and thin mase form 1-3 kot. And manage to still engaged to each other until now, all praise to Him who decides my comrades. Alhamdulillah. :D

So, tomorrow I'm going to Larkin Mall to teman kawan jaga booth. Heheheh jaga booth okay. Anyone who sees me can greet me, no worries. I'm all friendly and a chatterbox so just shoot! :D

I think I'm being a tad too overjoyed in this entry. So this is the happy me (not happy meal) for those who doesn't know. Ceh macam ade orang nak tahu.

Okay, I'm sleeping now. Till then. Wassalam.

Notes: Forever grateful for the friendships I've made throughout the years. Thanks to you for you have some shares in what have became of me today. Thanks.

Just my 'satu ringgit' on songs

Listening to songs, it could make you go all excited, anxious, emotional and whatnot. So there goes the goods and bads of songs.

Good is when you suddenly feel a vehement empowerment due to powerful encouragement contained in a song. Like the song 'Adakah Kau Lupa'. That song is dedicated to all Muslims around the globe actually to spark our awareness.

While bad comes by with the kind of Adele. Haha, wait I didn't say she's bad. She is very excellent indeed that her songs really turn on this switch of sadness and blues in my limbic system all of a sudden.

The music itself is enough to make you drift along going all dreamy and wishful and so on and so forth. Sometimes, the lyrics is far from being upsetting but the music still make you feel like crying. Now that's the irony of these songs we hear everyday.

Hey I wonder who is the first human to find pleasure in sound? How did they combine the art of voice and music in the first place? Who is the man that cherish our current developing  music and entertainment industry? Who is the one responsible for every teens stucking in earphone in their ears now?

But hey hey wake up! Wake up!

Don't take those emotions seriously okay. It's just a song anyway. Unless it's a good emotion.

Anyhow.

Would be even better to hear the beautiful, natural sounds made in heaven by our Utmost Wise God, right.
Like the sounds of waterfall, continuous rhythm of waves, ripples of water, heavy downpour, the lightning, the night creatures, the birds chirping, the leaves slapping each other, the gushes of wind, the volcanoes explosion (?) and the list goes on and on.

I miss going to places like beach and waterfall. The serenity and peace God made for us. Cause deep inside us, we always yearn for harmony and tranquility. Hustle and bustle of life stress everyone's life, making us like mad zombies sometimes. At least to some people they do. To me, who is currently mentally and physically dormant, safe at home I am soooooo at a peace of mind state. HAHA.

Everyday, waking up to house chores and laptop I am. Hehe. Whatever it is, be happy. You own your heart.  No one could make you feel anything, unless you allow them to. Cause your heart belongs to you, given by God.

Trivia:
Was hearing to Adele (Make You Feel My Love) just now and it perturbs my limbic system eventhough the lyrics isn't the slightest bitter which leads to this entry. The music does it job well, I think. I'm okay now.

I'm Home

Assalamualaikum.

Alhamdulillah finally I'm home. :D

Oh hoooo.. Momen paling best skali bila sampai rumah is mase ko bukak beg, pastu keluarkan souvenirs semua. Seronok bile tengok orang appreciate barang kite bagi kan. :D

Toklah ade kat rumah ni. Harini je dah kena suap dgn lontong. Amboiii. Tapi slack sikit sbb aku bangun lambat pagi tadi, dah tak sempat nak berguru belajar buat serunding kelapa ngan lodeh version orang lama punye. Experienced people punye recipe mane same ngan orang sekarang kan. Cewah.

Today, it was raining in the evening. It's been ages kot since the last time I hear live rain. Sebelum ni aku dengar kat Ipod je. Sangat kesian ini budak. Kihkihkih. Pastu semalam mase berhenti semayang kat RnR, dengar bunyi cicak. Homai, rase sangat Malaysia okeh suasana itu! Sebab kat rumah Mesir takde cicak. Kehkehkeh.

Sometimes, nikmat yg biasa-biasa ni, yg kecik-kecik ni go unnoticed. Tapi once die hilang, homai rase macam putus nyawe! Macam bunyi hujan tu kan. Bile dah kat Mesir terkedek-kedek mendownload apps bunyi hujan. HAHA.

Nikmat rumah kat Malaysia.
Bersyukur bile balik Malaysia, I have somewhere to head to. A place to call home.

Nikmat ibu bapa dan kaum keluarga.
Bersyukur bila ade orang yg jemput kite kat balai ketibaan KLIA. :D
I'll remember the grateful faces I saw yesterday. And I'll remember the exhausted faces for fetching me in KLIA then bring me to our home sweet home. I'll remember this when there'll be time when I'll be the one to be fetching them, visiting them one day. With no whining or anything. Just a blessed faces.

Alhamdulillah. Senyum dengan nikmat-nikmat ni. :)

Cairo Sum Up; 6-8 July 2012

Assalamualaikum.

Tehee. Ya know what? Saye dah habis exam! Okeh okeh dah seminggu habis exam sebenarnye, tapi baru harini nak bagitahu kat blog. Tak rock betul. Kehkehkeh.

Actually, aku sedikit busy lah lepas cuti ni. Bukan busy ape, busy busy gedik tu. Like for example, busy ke Cairo pergi Hussein beli souvenirs bawak balik Malaysia. Shopping je kerja. Shop till you drop. Heheh takpe takpe, aku nak tolong dr Morsi menjeneret ekonomi negara die.

Cairo (6-8 July)

Me the gorgeous (haha), Farisha and Raihan went to Productive Muslim Seminar. Dia cerita pasal how to make your Ramadhan a productive one. Ya, begitu. Macam macam dia ajar on how to manage your sleep during Ramadhan, how to be energetic, what should be done during the month of Ramadhan, so on and so forth.

Sedikit 'buah tangan' dari seminar tu:
  • Sebelum masuk bulan Ramadhan, kena pasang niat siap-siap: what you wanna get and do for Ramadhan this year. Dia kata, kalau niat kita baik, kita automatik akan buat that thing dengan baik.
  • Productive is focus X(times) energy, and generate good outcome from it. Kiranya you have to have both things to be productive!
  • We have to be productive in 3 different ways: physical, spiritual and social.
  • Physical productivity: this akan menjadikan kita lebih kuat masa bulan puasa, bukan lembik tak bermaya. Kena jadik kuat macam Rasulullah ngan sahabat pergi berperang masa bulan puasa!
  • Spiritual productivity: Kena dekatkan diri dengan Allah sedekat-dekatnya. Ramadhan ni pesta ibadah kita. Semua amalan dilipat-gandakan pahalanya. Oran putih parti dapat apa? Eksiden and whatnot. Kita pesta ibadah dapat hadiah!
  • Social productivity: If you are a son/daughter, be a good one for your parents and family. Be a good friend to your other friends. Socialize with your neighbours and relatives. And when I said socialize, I mean socialize with boundaries hokay!
  • 7 daily spiritual habits to develop during Ramadhan:
  1. Solat sunat rawatib (sebelum Subuh, sebelum dan selepas Zuhur, sebelum Asar, selepas mahgrib, sebelum dan selepas Isyak)
  2. Zikir selepas solat
  3. Ma'thurat pagi dan petang
  4. Solat malam aka qiyamullail
  5. Solat Dhuha
  6. Maintan dalam wudhu' sentiasa
  7. Baca Quran minimum 30 minit setiap hari

//

7-8 July
  • Shopped in Asfour and Hussein. Asfour is a place that sells crystals and stuff made from crystals like bracelets, necklace, rings, brooch and whatnot. While Hussein is a bazaar selling many things from abaya (jubah) to whatever souvenirs you can imagine of. Everything is there.
  • Shopped in City Stars. I went to the bookstores and went crazy inside it from the smell of the crisp papers of the novels. Grabbed 2 Jodi Picoult's and thought about making a  booksale in Malaysia. Will figure that out. And yeah, I need to make a reading list in Malaysia. Got so much books stacked up on my desk right now while the medic books got back to their home as early as 3rd of July. HAHA. And I think I have some unread books in Malaysia too. Whoah fainting*.
  • Make new friends and met the old friends from school. We ate nasi ayam goreng rangup and talked about each and everyone's progress. Most revolved around 'when are you coming home arr?' and 'how was your exam?' stuff.
  • Got one hot breaking news. InsyaAllah on 15th September, a couple from our batch will be the very first among us to get married! Alhamdulillah and Congratulations to both of them; Sheila and Kamil. I knew all along they'll both end up together. I can feel it HAHHAHA.

Aku ni tadi cakap melayu tetibe terpesong jauh ke benua Eropah apehal? Ugh, whatever. Ok dah baibai!

Wsalam.

Spain 2012

Entry ni aku typed Khamis minggu lepas. Hari ni dah hari Rabu dah. Almost a week dah pun. I busy okeh. <<< hahaha acahh jee.
***

Assalamualaikum.

Bertemu lagi kite dlm segment Riang Ria Khamis-Malam-Jumaat. Acehhh.

Ape kabo oghe kapung? Kehkeh okeh aku tak reti cakap loghat biarpun kawan dgn Nadhirah nak dekat setahun dah. Aku cuma tahu 'go dio' je. (bahasa JB; ape die?) Hihi.

Petang tadi jumpa Jihah kat kelas. Pastu die tanye 'Tiqah, bila nak cerita pasal Spain?' Ihik ihik. Memang dah lama nak tulis pasal tu kat sini tapi masa tak mengizinkan. Acehhh lagi sekali. Huhu.

So, malam ni aku merancang utk tulis pengalaman pergi negara orang tu. Kalau sempat siap la. Lame kot nak upload gambar. Oh dan entry ni adelah bersaiz extra extra large. Kalau tak sempat habis, esok boleh datang baca lagi. Hehe.

Kite mulakan dgn Bismillah. Paling penting sekali, memang bersyukur la sebab Allah permudahkan segala urusan waktu holiday ni. Macam terlambat keluar hostel, lari-lari pergi bus station (Estacion Autobuses) pastu lambat 3 minit, tapi bas masih tak gerak lagi. Syukur sangat tak ditinggalkan bas. Kalau tak, terbakar duit. Ingat murah? Eh panjang pulak memcecet budak ni HAHAH sorry sorry. Okeh, mulakan dgn Barcelona.

Barcelona; bandar mesra tourist. Sangat mesra. Tourist nak jalan, kereta semua stop bagi laluan. Information centers sangat bertaburan makanye mudah nak bertanya-tanya akan hala tuju yg kabur. Em, souvenirs sgt mahal kat Barca but choices sgt banyak. Acane tu? Aku belilah jugak sikit-sikit. Keychain satu 2.50 euro ; (opss kantoi kat org yg dpt keychain). Oh, ade Hard Rock Cafe kat sini! Tulis mcm excited sungguh tp sebenarnye aku takda perasaan pun masuk HRC ni. Tp aku beli bracelet. Wikikiki.

Sagrada Familia; church under renovation. Biasa saje. Tp sebab semua org (tourists) pergi sini, kitorang pun nak pergi sini jugak. Kat dinding die penuh dgn ukiran patung. Patung salib and stuffs macam tu la.

Malaysian Chinese we found. Actually kami semua stay kat Hotel Lloret. (ade wifi). Sekali pergi Carrefour nak beli air mineral, terserempak. Pergi sini pun jumpa lagi. Adakah ini jodoh? Okeh aku bergurau. HAHAHA.

Hospital. Aku pun taktahu acane boleh masuk sini. Kitorang selamba je masuk hospital, ambik gambar (kate tourists kan) pastu ade doktor pakai labcoat lalu lalang kat tepi. Tak rase macam ironik ke? Like, ade ke orang posing kat HUKM? Oh takpe, kitorang tourists. One more thing; diorang sgt kuat merokok. Tak kira lelaki atau perempuan, nurse atau doktor. Apebendakah nama fenomena pelik ini? It is not yet documented bak kate Dr. Azza guru pharmaco yg awesome.

Kat dalam megastore ni dia jual merchandise like fridge magnet, alas cawan, poster dll. Alahaiiii.

Antara halal restaurant yg kami jumpa. Nama die Ala Turca (Turkish dish) Restaurant. Boleh la  nak claim pergi Turki sikit-sikit kan. Ihik ihik. Ya Allahhhh. Masa ni kan dah berapa hari tak makan daging. Makan maggi je keje. Memang tunggang terbalik kadar nutrisi aku (nasib baik store banyak).

Nampak tak kedai kat belakang tu nama die Kuala Lumpur? Sungguh excited kami kami ni. Like seriously?! Was taken at La Ramblas.

La Boqueria Market near La Ramblas. Ha ni aku suka. Kehkeh tengok udang dia gedabak gedabak sape tak suka kan. Sikit je lagi nak beli. Nasib baik akal kata jangan. Kang kena tahan kat airport tak memasal kang. Kat sini jual buah, fresh juices, home made chocolates, kaki khinzir, kaki ayam takde, ikan dan kawan kawannya. Oh, masa aku pergi sini, the sellers semua pakai costume tau. Ade yg pakai mcm firaun and super mario. Yes, mereka pelik. HAHAH.

Korean stall. Makan vege tempura kat sini. Iskiskisk terus jadi vegetarian duduk negara ni.

The vege tempura! Macam jemput-jemput je....

Entrance La Boqueria, Barcelona.

Catalunya Park, tempat burung merpati mengemis makanan. Tempat aku mencuci mata. Ehhh. Haha

Menjadi makcik makcik di persisiran. Makcik sebelah tu tak reti cakap english langsung langsung. So memang tak dapat la nak berbual dgn die. ISKKK. Nampak tak kat kerusi sebelah ade family Arab? Anak die comel sungguh laa. Tapi kannn die nampak aku pastu nak nangis pulak. Ah tak comel terus budak tu. Ingat aku monster inc?? Helooo comel macam ni bla bla blaa. HAHA.

La Alhambra, Granada
Alhambra ni sebenarnye kubu and istana at the same time. Firstly built oleh kerajaan Islam then ade satu zaman reconquista (reconquer) oleh Sepanyol and they took hold of the palace and converted it to become church and whatever. That's why la banyak tulisan arab kat sini. Boleh beza arts orang Islam dgn non Muslim. Orang Islam banyak main geometry elements and bunga bunga. Kalau non muslim, they usually tend to use human as their arts. Macam orang kena salib and stuffs. Kebanyakan yg aku tengok macam tu lah.

Ada tulisan jawi kat dinding dia tu. Sedih bila tengok lama-lama. Sebab apa? Sebab it makes me think, kat mana silapnya? Huhu. Dulu, kita (Islam) ada kerajaan yg ampuh, sekarang semua orang dah hambik. Orang Islam semua kena tindas. Kenapa? Tapi kita jangan lupa. Kita ade potensi masing-masing. Should use those to bring our deen back to its upmost gemilang time. InsyaAllah. (tetiba tazkirah kan. kehkeh)

Ok malas dah nak tulis lagi. Tengok gambar je la ea. Pandai pandai la bawak diri memasing.

Kat bawah ni semua gambar kat dalam Alhambra.

Ok stop stop. Gambar ni aku masukkan dlm pertandingan gambar awesome tu. Eh salah lah. One Picture Thousand Words. Ha itu die. Sila lah 'like' kalau berkenan. Acehhh promote promote. HAHA.

Mezquita, Cordoba

Ok ni kat Cordoba. Another masjid kat Spain. It is regarded as one of the 12 treasures of Spain okeh. Kehkeh.

La Barajas Airport, Madrid.
Okbai. Time ni memang tak sabar betul nak balik Alex. Macam tak percaya dgn diri sendiri pun ade. Sebab dah tak larat sangat duduk kat negara bukan Islam. Dgn makanan tak cukupnya, dengan orang yg suka tengok semacam kat orang solat, haishhhh salute ar kat students yg belajar kat non Muslim country.

Actually, makan bukanlah tak cukup. Cukup. Tapi hari hari makan sayur lah. Cukupkah itu? Hehehe tapi still sihat kan?

Ok dah. Gambar banyak lagi sebenarnye.  Tapi cukuplah yang ni je utk blog. Yg lain boleh tgk kat fb. Tawaran dibuka utk akhowat sahaja. Kahkahkah comel bukan syarat tu.

Live from Barcelona!

Salam 'alaiku dear earthlings!

Hari ni masuk hari ke 4 aku berada kat Barcelona. Nice place but very pricey. Sebenarnya aku rase lain duduk kat sini. Sebab suasana die sangat berbeza dari norma kehidupan aku. Norma okeh jangan memahen! Huhu.

Kat sini takda azan. Takda orang pakai tudung. Takda iklim dini (betul ke ni?). Ye lah, selama ni duduk kat Egypt, azan memang sahut menyahut. Tiba kat sini, hari Jumaat takda beza dgn hari hari lain. What do you expect kan. Dah memang Europe country.

Kat sini ada je orang pakai tudung as in shawl la. Arabs from Morocco, Egyptian married to Spanish ha macam tu lah. Just tengok macam kite tengok orang putih dalam KTM la.

Makanan kat sini susah nak carik! Tapi ade je halal restaurat. Semalam kitorang makan kat Ala Turca Restaurant. Turkish cuisine la. Ade je shish tawuk! Hihi aku makan yg tu je la.

Cuaca kat sini opkos le sejuk nyee dah nama winter kan. Kalau pagi ngn malam ha memang sejuk! Dalam 5'C gak la. Tapi aku sweater tebal ngan inner je dah cukuP sbb aku ade lagi satu fat layer yg tebal dlm badan KAHKAHKAH.

Cakap pasal fat fat ni, kitorang banyak berjalan kat sini. Like seriously banyak. Kitorang naik metro (KTM punye adik beradik) pastu jalan kaki gi stadium Barcelona Camp Nou tu. Ala tapi aku takde perasaan sangat pun gi situ. Tak masuk pun museum and stadium tu. Just pergi Megastore die je. Tempat jual merchandise FCB. Tak boleh blah ok die jual berus gigi elektrik jenama FCB.
Semacam je aku tengok.

Ok la, malam ni nak gerak pergi Granada naik train 64 euro okehhh cube darab 8 sikit... Haa baru sama dgn Egypt. Pastu bahagi 2 kalau nak same dgn Malaysia. Standard la 10 hours journey.

Goodbye! Wassalammmm.

Jalan-jalan carik makan.

''Ya tuhankuuuuu!!!! Lagi lima hari nak balik kampung ni macam mana ni..? I tak ready lagi, beg tak pack lagi, jiwa raga masih belum settle...homai homaiiiiii. ''(Ini dalam hati je. kalau cakap dengan abah gerenti wa dapat lecture setengah jam wuhuu)

I just came back from Kota Kinabalu. Macam holiday lah kan. Eh bukan macam. Memang. Tapi aku sorang je ikut macam tak berapa havoc la sebab orang putih pun suka cakap 'the more the merrier'. Sebab kali ni belum cuti sekolah, aku sorang je lah dapat join. And yeah, aku memag feeling feeling anak tunggal. Muahaha gedik en. Tapi bile lagi nak rase kalau bukan hari tu.

Aku stay kat Le Meridien, KK. Memang strategik habis hotel neh. Opposite dia is Pasar Philipines where you can find all sort of gelang, rantai dan brooch. Memang syurga la masuk dalam tuh. Harga die memang sangat best with good looking bracelets. Aku memang tuju bracelets ngn brooch aje.

Hotel tu banyak gile mat salleh. Mostly from Australia. And yeah Australian accent gile susah nak faham. KL jadik Key Oll (like seriously tension aku nak mentranslatekan sebutan dorang jadi English aku). Just dengar diorang berbual ngn ayah aku je la. Pastu tumpang gelak muahahha tetibe. Biaselah, hobi.

Sebelah Pasar Philipines tu ade pusat penjaja Sinsuran (wah aku ingat ni bahh) where you can find all sorts of grilled fish, prawns, squids, lobsters and what not. Juga itu sayap ayam (kepak lah kepak ayammm come on la). Aku kan, makan kat situ 3 malam mu tau dok. Naik sakit perut aku makan kat situ. Huuu, lepas ni aku taknak makan situ lagi. Diarrhea aku weih. Sebab macam tak berapa nak hygeinic sangat tapi perut punya pasal kasi hantam saja la. Takde la kotor sangat tapi aku termakan banyak arang kot. Hoho. Yang part hangus-hangus tu kan. Oh man, udang dia very nice lah! Ok, tomorrow i'm gonna switch that ol'treadmill on. Mak saya bilang kita perlukan 3000 langkah sehari. Hahahha perasan betul.

Sebelah hotel tu ade Centrepoint, City Parade ngan Warisan Square. Semua itu shopping complex. See, memang strategik gile ini hotel.

Wah, bestnya!

So, 6.30 ptg keluar dari rumah heading to UTM.

Ok dah habis. Aku tulis macam biasa.

Lepas pergi tempat mama, kita pergi tempat baba pula. Aku adalah feeling-feeling seperti anak tunggal malam semalam. Wah, bestnya! Semua perhatian mereka tertumpah (ehhh terstart baku robot balik lahhhh) kepada aku. So aku sangat gembira. Tapi kegembiraan aku tak bertahan lama sebab hampir semua orang bertanya ''Bu, mana anak engkau yang lain? Yang ni je ke?'' Ini adalah salah satu bentuk spoiler. Haha. Tapi memang tak best pun takda adik beradik yg join. Kalau tak, boleh aku buat buli amekkan barang sepinggan dua pinggan nasi dagang. Kiteww maluwww. Hahahaha.

Ketang keting ketung Alexandriaaaa! Perut dah terisi hampir penuh menandakan masa utk balik ke rumah. Abah kalau dah jumpa kawan, nggak bulih dipanggil pulang. Memecah tradisi! Tapi aku tak kira! Nak gak balik, nak gak!!! Biaselah anak manje. Hahaha.

Aku rasa best jugak kalau study kat UTM ni. Kalau dia ada medic lah kan. Aku Engineering? Adakah aku demam malaria sewaktu mendaftar dahulu? Nehi nehi not my taste baybehh. Ok, aku kata UTM best sebab semua fakulti terletak dalam satu kawasan yg dipanggil UTM (of course Tiqah). Kalau Alexandria University, Egypt (nama nak penuh aje), fakulti dia bersepah-sepah. Kuliyah Tib (medic) kat Mowassa satu, kat Azarita satu. Kuliyah Handasah (Engine) depan Kuliyah Tib. Kuliyah Tijarah (business) kat sebelah tram. Jadi, semacam tak bersatulah students dia. Kalau kat UTM kan boleh gather sesame buat MPP la apela. Ada wakil from each faculty. Kat Egypt mana ada. Tapi, aku takdelah kisah sangat. Sebab ramai-ramai pun akan menserabutkan otak. So, just let it be like this.

Sekian sahaja berita malam tadi. Sekian.

Wassalam.
